Dan and Lise-Anne Serafini

In 2010 veteran restaurateurs Dan and Lise-Anne Serafini took over Giorgio’s Grill and transformed it into GG’s Waterfront Bar and Grill.  GG’s is a refreshing take on waterfront dining featuring a modern American menu of fresh fish, a seafood raw bar and steaks.  At GG’s, you can enjoy sipping on artisan cocktails at the terrace bar, lounge tables and couches as stylish yachts glide by. While dining dockside be reveled by the spectacular views of daily sunsets.

Brian Cantrell Chef

Chef Brian Cantrell has been delivering singularly delicious experiences at some of the area’s most notable restaurants including the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Mark’s at the Park in Boca Raton, Nemo on Miami Beach, A Fish Called Avalon, Blue Moon Fish Company and Thasos.  He’s garnered critical acclaim based on his “non-confusion cuisine” and “what grows together go together” ethos.  Foodies will appreciate the flavors and sensibility he imparts to his dishes as well as the daily specials he creates sourced from the seasonal offerings of local farmers, fish-mongers and butchers.

Spiro Kommatas

Spiro Kommatas, GG’s General Manager, brings a wide array of experience and creative passion to his job.  As a youth he’d spend summers in Greece on his family farm was the start of his lifelong love of food. After a stint in broadcasting and photography, he returned to his first love of food and completed chef’s training at George Brown Culinary College.  He worked in kitchens and the front of the house eventually taking a position on the opening team of “Baton Rouge” – a division of a regional chain operator in Canada.  Spiro also owned a Nickles Diner franchise (which was a concept of Celine Dion) and eventually sold that and two sandwich shops to move to Florida in 2010.  He met the Serafini’s and started working at GG’s shortly after arriving in South Florida.
